*By booking a service with Matte Makeup Artistry, we require a client to signify the agreement to these terms of use and the fact that all terms and conditions apply to Matte Makeup Artistry and the artists we represent.

Payment Terms

All terms of payment must be discussed prior to booking. To secure the availability of an artist, Matte Makeup Artistry requires a deposit of 50% of the total service. A deposit payment should be made by check to the company’s address. Returned checks are charged $45. A refund on deposit is not issued if the client decides to cancel the reservation.

Products

Through this policy, the client agrees to allow the use of products that are deemed appropriate by the artist. Further, the decision to use the client’s products is entirely up to the professional discretion of the artist.

Cancellation

Our artists do their best to be available for our clientele with minimal advanced notice. Due to the high demand for their services, we require at least 24-hour notice for cancellations. Clients who cancel beyond the 24-hour window will be responsible for the full amount of the booked services. Cancellations must be received over the phone. PLEASE NOTE: CANCELLATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED VIA E-MAIL.

No Shows

If a Matte Makeup artist arrives at a scheduled appointment location and is unable to reach the client within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time of the appointment or is unable to provide the service for any reason beyond our control, the client agrees to be charged for the full amount of the service. The artist will only be able to extend the length of the appointment based on his or her availability, and we cannot guarantee extended appointments. If you must change any information (date of the event, travelling location, time of the event, length of the event), we recommend you to consult with the artist in advance.

Client Privacy

Client privacy is extremely important to us and discretion is our priority. Matte Makeup Artistry policy prohibits sharing any information about clients, client appointments, clients’ homes, etc., with anyone outside the company. Within the company we require that client information sharing be strictly limited to information regarding client beauty or styling needs only. Through this policy the client agrees that it is Matte Makeup Artistry policy not to share client information.
